Faster recovery for survivors. Faster recovery for states.

Faster recovery for survivors. Faster recovery for states.

AidFinder helps residents and business owners prepare, navigate, and apply for disaster recovery aid across state, federal, and NGO programs, so states come back faster and stronger.

The Problem

Today, survivors have to work the system. We are building it to work for them.

Disaster aid is scattered across FEMA, SBA, insurance, NFIP, state programs, and NGOs. The households and businesses that recover fastest are the ones that went in prepared. Everyone else becomes their own case manager, chasing forms and deadlines at the worst possible moment.

In every disaster I've worked, the breakdown wasn't the program — it was the path between the survivor and the program. Closing that gap is the single biggest thing a state can do to speed recovery and reduce its own costs.

In every disaster I've worked, the breakdown wasn't the program or the provider, it was the path between the survivor and the various recovery programs. Closing that gap is the single biggest thing a state can do to speed recovery and reduce its own costs.

Disaster recovery should answer to the survivor first, not a maze of disconnected agencies. AidFinder keeps the person trying to recover at the center of every step. That is the only way recovery should be built, and it is why I am part of this.

After the fire, I had no idea what to do first. No one explains how your damages, insurance, FEMA, SBA, and state programs all fit together. That is why we created AidFinder.
